Fire and Ice: Iraheta and Lauper
This isn’t the last you’ll hear from me on Allison Iraheta, but it’s the last I’ll mention her for a while…I just wanted to share her last moments on American Idol with Cyndi Lauper…a bit of fire and ice playing off each other…especially in the ending riffs. Enjoy.

Last night’s American Idol left me cold without Allison Iraheta’s fire in the mix. As I mentioned earlier, I’ll never get hooked on this show again. But, I’m glad I learned about Allison and I look forward to her first CD.

Time for Women to Rock Rant
I never, ever watched American Idol until this season, and I doubt I’ll ever watch it again. While highly entertaining, I think the judges suck and the process – while beneficial to virtually unknown singers – is demeaning and humiliating.
