After news about the “shock market,” being without power and cable for two + days, thanks to Ike, neighbors who have unruly kids who aren’t in school (thanks again to Ike), and the disbelief that someone in the McCain camp can be tossed off the “straight talk” bus for honest opinions, I want this (from I Can Has Cheezburger):

With that said, I grieve for the folks in Galveston. Since I have family and friends who experienced Katrina along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I know what they’ve experienced and I think I know what’s in Galveston’s future, if I can base it on Mississippi’s fate over the past three years. I wish those folks many belly rubs, as they’ll need it more than I do at this point…
