Don Siegelman is asking folks to find Rove in contempt with a convenient letter already made out for you to send to Congress.
If your memory is short, let us remind you that in July, the House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed Karl Rove and demanded his testimony about his role in the politicization of the Department of Justice and politically motivated prosecutions of Democratic leaders, including Don Siegelman.
Karl Rove refused to show up for the hearing, claiming that Congress has no power to compel senior White House officials to testify (a habit that is rapidly expanding to include Republicans who aren’t even in office, let alone running for office – like Tod Palin).
If you believe that Rove needs to comply with this country’s laws, just like any law-abiding citizen – then go to Don Siegelman’s easy-to-use form to file your complaint. Do it now, before Congress adjourns at the end of September!
